Bio:
Born June 30, 1974 in France. His apprenticeship in painting began in 1989 in the workshop Maïthé Rovino Aussonne followed by one year Beaux Arts in Toulouse. The work was focused on oil painting and pastel. The work in charcoal and pencil has allways been the basis of his work before and after school.
Inspired by the impressionists and sketches of the great italian masters, his painting is spontaneous and structured. The compositions and colours are the highlight his subjects. The imcomplete processing of the background and light effect's, the attitudes and the emotions of the characters directed catch the eye of the viewer. Its purpose is to give an impression of life in his paintings.
The technique is paramount to him. Implementation of fastness without hesitation. The early stages the work is structured by the light performing an academic drawing, this is the reason that most of the preliminary lines of the composition still appear in some places even in finished works, the final result is a direct expression of the drawing.
In 2009 he became member of the "Art du Pastel en France" this year he had temporarily set aside the oils.

Artist statements :
My work is mainly focused on portraits and their expressions. I try to keep a record throughout the spontaneous creative process. My goal is to represent the essential with a minimum of means.
I started to exhibit at the age of 17 and now I'm trying to promote my art outside of Europe.
For now most of my income comes from artistic portraits orders.
