Bio:
Connie Chadwell exhibits her figure and portrait drawings and paintings in national and regional art competitions and she has received many top awards for her work. Her drawings and paintings are included in many private collections in the United States and abroad. Connie's work can be seen at Artworks Gallery in Austin, Texas.
One of her drawings from life was included in the book, Strokes of Genius: The Best of Drawing, published by North Light Books.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Connie studied drawing and painting at the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia, with additional classes at the Washington Studio School and the Smithsonian Institution, both in Washington, D.C.
Having returned to her home in the Texas Hill Country after living for many years in Washington, D.C., she has taught figure drawing classes at the Kerrville Arts and Cultural Center in Kerrville, Texas, and the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram, Texas.
