Bio:
Anita Mosher is an American impressionist trained in the Russian school of painting. Anita is an award winning artist noted for her brilliant use of color and exuberant strokes across the canvas. She has received awards from national juried shows and has exhibited her paintings nationwide in both solo and group exhibitions including Colorado Governor’s Invitational and the Gilcrease Musuem’s American Art in Miniature Invitational. Anita's work hangs in private and corporate collections across the United States and Europe including the Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, United Western Bank, Vail Valley Medical Center and the private collection of actor Jack Nicholson. Anita enjoys painting from life both plein air and in her studio in Denver, Colorado. Anita’s mother placed her in art classes when she was 6 years old after noticing her strong interest in drawing and painting. Anita is following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother by painting in oil. Anita is a founding member of Plein Air Artists Colorado and Nomadas del Arte. She is a signature member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society and the American Impressionists Society.
